• The competition and the prizes are shown on the Facebook and Instagram page of the organiser.

• The competition is run by the company leovet Dr. Jacoby GmbH & Co. KG, Beim Eberacker 1, 35633 Lahnau (in short: leovet). If you have any questions or would like to contact us, you will find further details in the " imprint on this website.  

• All Facebook and Instagram users who are at least 18 years old or have the consent of their parents are eligible to participate, with the exception of employees of the company leovet.

• The competition runs during the period specified in the corresponding post.

• The winner will be announced publicly in the competition post after the draw.  

• Anyone who fulfils all the conditions stated in the corresponding Facebook or Instagram post will be entered into the competition. You can only enter once per platform, double entries in one and the same platform will not be considered.

• By submitting a picture, the participant agrees that the picture may be posted on our site to announce the winner.

• By submitting an image, entrants confirm that they accept these terms and conditions of entry and that they hold the unrestricted copyright and usage rights to the image submitted. At the same time, entrants declare that any persons depicted in the picture agree with the submission.

• The picture will not be passed on to third parties; it will be deleted after the specified period has expired. The pictures will be deleted immediately if they contain offensive or even illegal content; in this case, participation in the competition will be excluded.

• The winners will inform us of their postal address within 4 weeks of the announcement of the winners so that we can send the prize. After expiry of the 4-week notification period, the claim to the prize will expire.  We will use the addresses exclusively for sending the prizes, will not publish them, will not pass them on to third parties and will not use them for advertising purposes. Furthermore, we will delete the details after sending the prizes.

• Participants undertake not to post or share any illegal content.

• leovet reserves the right to exclude persons from participation who attempt to gain advantages through manipulation and, if necessary, to withdraw the prize afterwards.

• In case of need - for example abuse by third parties - we reserve the right to change, adapt or terminate the competition.

• The legal process is excluded. The competition is not connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook or Instagram.

Data protection

• The organiser is responsible under data protection law for the processing of the participants' personal data for the purpose of organising the competition. By participating in the competition, the participant gives consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO for his/her specified data to be processed for the purpose of organising the competition. In the event of a win, the name and postal address of the participant are required for this purpose. The participant submits these via direct message on Facebook/Instagram.

• The participant is free to revoke the consent at any time and thereby withdraw from participation. In the event of revocation, leovet will immediately delete the data concerned. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

The applicable data protection law grants participants comprehensive data subject rights (rights of information and intervention) vis-à-vis the organiser with regard to the processing of their personal data, namely:

• Right to information pursuant to Art. 15 DSGVO;

• Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 DSGVO;

• Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 DSGVO;

• Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR;

• Right to information pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR;

• Right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR;

• Right to withdraw consent granted pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR;

• Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO.

 

The participants' personal data will be used and stored exclusively for the purpose of carrying out and processing the competition and for possible contact in the event of a win. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties (e.g. post office, parcel service), with the exception of the delivery of the prize.

After the end of the competition and complete processing of the competition, all stored data will be deleted.
